On the 25^th of March, world premiere of “Mahler. On the Edge of Eternity” takes place at Zaryadye Hall.

Merited Artist of the Russian Federation, mezzo-soprano Alexandra Durseneva says: “We have reached a certain level where there’s demand for certain universality, I mean, we need to fuse different genres, and speak the languages of music, theatre, dance, contemporary technologies, at the same time. Frankly speaking, I used to be skeptical about necessity of ‘Mahler. On the Edge of Eternity’ nowadays, in times of numerous COVID-related losses, but actually Mahler’s music and Rückert's poems are not about fear of death. It’s the music of light, and it tells us that death is not the end of everything”.
