The Brass Days International Festival was established to promote brass music in Russia. One of Russia’s best trumpeters and young symphony conductors Vladislav Lavrik has initiated this festival and become its artistic director.

Igor Butman has a reputation of the “Russian jazz trademark”. This night, he will perform together with the Tula Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra and Vladislav Lavrik who will serve as a conductor as well as a soloist.

The programme includes music by Bernstein, Gershwin, Butman and other composers.


The event is organised by the Foundation to Support and Develop Russian Brass Music.
