Daniel Zaretsky graduated from the Leningrad Conservatoire as an organist and as a pianist in addition to completing a post-graduate degree at the Kazan State Conservatoire and studying at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki (class of Professor Kari Jussila). From 1997 to 2007 he was organist at the St Petersburg Academic Shostakovich Philharmonic. From 2002 to 2007 he was an assistant professor at the Nizhny Novgorod State Glinka Conservatoire (organ class). From 2006 he was a professor of the Department of Organ, Harpsichord and Carillon of the Faculty of Arts of the St Petersburg State University, from 2007 he was a senior lecturer and since 2011 he has been head of the Faculty of Organ and Harpsichord at the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire. Many of Daniel Zaretsky’s students have been prize-winners at international and all-Russian competitions. The musician has been awarded the title of Honoured Artist of Russia.

Argishti was born and raised in St. Petersburg. Having received an academic musical education in his native city, he went to Armenia and continued his studies with one of the best duduk players of our time - Gevorg Dabaghyan. Argishti is a regular participant in many ethnic festivals. His music can be attributed to the world music (ethno) genre. The artist's discography includes 10 albums.
