Lyudmila Berlinskaya
Arthur Ancelle (France)
Piano duo

"Sensational pianists" (Fanfare), "brilliant, life-affirming" duet (Diapason), "excellent technique" (Classica), teamwork that gives "the impression that only one performer is playing" (musicweb-international) - all these epithets of the foreign press include to the tandem of Lyudmila Berlinskaya and Arthur Ansel - one of the "most exciting duets on the modern stage" (Alban Diggs, classiquenews.com).

This union was born almost a decade ago, in 2011, at the Paris Conservatory, when a talented student Arthur Ansel came to the class of the brilliant pianist Lyudmila Berlinskaya. In a short time, the duo formed a repertoire in which "hits" for two pianos and four hands coexist with rare pieces, with which they are invited to prestigious festivals and to the largest philharmonic halls in Europe, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod. “We are together because we want to play together. We think that we absolutely need it, ”says Lyudmila.

The duo released three albums with works by P. Tchaikovsky, S. Prokofiev and F. Liszt, received numerous prizes and awards, such as The Editor's Choice of Gramophone, Choc of Classica, Album of the year from Le Monde, Pianiste Maestro and others.
