Pupils of Vera Gornostaeva, an outstanding piano teacher and educator, will tribute her on her 90th birthday in the Small Hall of “Zaryadye”. The concert will be recorded for further release on CD.
The programme is based on the pieces played by pupils of Vera Gornostaeva.
Andrey Gugnin, Vadym Kholodenko, and Lukas Geniušas made friends when they all were Gornostaevas’ pupils. In last ten years of her life, Vera Gornostaeva felt special pride for this extraordinary “trio”. As a joke, she kept calling the three young man – already stars in their own right! – “Three muscketeers”, or “Three Russian bogatyr warriors”.
