Concert in commemoration of th 30th anniversary of the band

John Wolf Brennan, piano (Ireland – Switzerland)
Arkady Shilkloper, french horn, alphorn, corno da caccia, flugelhorn (Russia-Germany)

Music of Pago Libre is far from the conventional jazz mainstream. They band don’t play any “standards”, and it lacks drummer. Free flowing improvisation, based on different musical and ethnical traditions, has always been the basis for the band’s music. The main sources of inspiration for Pago Libre are jazz, folk, and classic of Switzerland, Russia, and Germany.

So, the style and sound of Pago Libre are unique, second to none. This concert will prove it!

The concert is supported by Pro Helvetia, the Switzerland culture council.
