Speaker – Ekaterina Klyuchnikova, music journalist
Students of the Gnessin State Musical College
Students of the Gnessin State Musical College
What country is the violin’s place of birth, and who is the bassoon’s friend? How many strings does the harp have, and what does it have in common with the grand piano? In a long musical journey, the young music aficionados will learn the structure of musical instruments and their history. They will get a chance to listen to them and choose an instrument that they would like to know more closely.
The speaker is music journalist Ekaterina Klyuchnikova. She will explain who lives within a symphony orchestra, and how the miniature and resonant flute gets along with the stately double bass, and students of the Gnessin State Musical College will perform the music by great composers.
