Maxim Rysanov (born in 1978 in Kramators, Ukraine) is an award-winning Ukrainian-British violist and conductor. Boris Brovtsyn (born in 1977 in Moscow) is a Russian violinist and teacher. In 2001 he was a finalist at the Queen Elizabeth Violin Competition and won the 2001 Reuters Prize. The following year he won the Tibor Varga International Violin Competition.
The State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia “Evgeny Svetlanov” was founded 80 years ago. Vladimir Jurowski is it’s current artistic director.
