Moscow concert hall “Zaryadye” receive “Bravo” First Prize

The jury unanimously voted for the new concert complex “Zaryadye” nominated as “Venue of the year”. The ceremony of the International music awards “BraVo” in the field of classical art took place on March 19 at the historical stage of the Bolshoi theatre.

Director General of “Zaryadye” Hall Olga Zhukova received the prize from the hands of Sergei Polunin, who had recently presented his spectacle “Sacre” in the Grand Hall of “Zaryadye”. Olga Zhukova commended the professional jury that had chosen the Hall not only for its architecture and acoustics, but also for the repertoire. “For us, it is important that world renowned musicians are eager to perform in ‘Zaryadye’”, Olga Zhukova said. “I can’t help saying that it is due to artists and public that Russia is recognized as the cultural capital of the world again. And this is one of priorities for our work”.

The Director General also expressed gratitude to the City, and personally to Mayor Sergey Sobyanin, to Moscow city urban policy complex and personally Marat Khusnullin, the Chief architect of Moscow Sergey Kuznetsov, and Cultural Department of Moscow represented by the Minister of Culture of Moscow Alexander Kibovsky. “I can feel their support and assistance every day”, she said.
