Organ for “Zaryadye”, delivery from France completed

“King of Instruments” will first sound in February 2020

 On 9th of July 2019, the spare parts for final installation of the organ in “Zaryadye” are delivered from Strasbourgh (France).

More than 3,6 wooden and metallic tubes as well as mobile and mechanical consoles, systems for air supply and registers. After all the systems of the instrument are assembled, the installation of the organ would begin (during July-September of 2019).

After the second concert season in “Zaryadye” starts, on the 7th of September, the tuning of “King of Instruments” will begin.

The inauguration of the organ that was built by the oldest French manufacturer Mühleisen, is scheduled for February 29th, 2020. According to Director-general of “Zaryadye” Hall Olga Zhukova, the world’s best organ players are invited to play at the first concert of this organ. “It wouldn’t be just a usual organ gala, but a whole show, with a symphony orchestra, opera singers, and ballet dancers. That kind of a concert will help showcase all the possibilities of the new instrument”, Zhukova specified.

With its number of registers, the organ is the largest in the Russian capital, and one of the biggest in Europe. The design of the instrument, handmade using only best technologies of the best masters of the world, will perfectly fit into the Hall.
  
The organ of Moscow concert hall “Zaryadye” has 85 registers, 4-manual keyboard console (61 keys), and a mobile console with 4 manuals (32 keys). Its measures (height, width, depth, weight) will be advised after the installation is completed.
