President of Russia Vladimir Putin visited "Zaryadye" Hall

The head of the state has come to the concert dedicated to National Unity Day.

On the 4th of November, Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra (led by Valery Gergiev), pianist Denis Matsuyev, and Tchaikovsky Competition winners performed at the Grand Hall. Behind the wings, Russian president personally congratulated the talented contestants.

"Let me thank you for this night, and congratulate with your achievments and success during the Tchaikovsky competition. That was cool! You pleased everyone", Vladimir Putin said. President also thanked the musicians for their promotion of Russian music during their foreign tours, and wished them success.
