All-Russian Youth Symphony Orchestra

Сonductor – Freddy Cadena
Founded in 2012, the All-Russian Youth Symphony Orchestra is being formed on the basis of an unprecedentedly large scale pan-Russia contest, that embrace young classical musicians from every part of the country. During all those years passed, the Orchestra has nurtured a certain number of high-class musicians, who develop the great traditions of Russian music school, and bring them out to the world.

The largest concert halls of Russian and Europe, e.g Viennes Musikverein, Milanese Auditorium La Verdi, Concertgebouw Amsterdam‎, Berliner Philharmoniker, and the United Nations Office at Geneva, invite the orchestra to play every year. The most prominent soloists perform with the orchestra. According to Bashmet, the orchestra is “that kind of ensemble that is always full of energy, and while onstage the musicians enjoy a very particular emotional state, and that can’t help but impress public in every country”.

The TV channel “Kultura” series “Orchestra of the Future” is devoted to the All-Russian Youth Symphony Orchestra. TV channel Mezzo broadcast several concerts of the orchestra, while two documentaries depict the story of the orchestra.
This night, the conductor is maestro Bashmet himself. The brightest “starlets” of the unique orchestra showcase their talents, too.

The concert is funded by the Russian President’s grant for the Development of Civil Society provided by the Presidential Grants Foundation and held with the support of the Russian Ministry of Culture.

The event is organized by ANO “Gastrolno-concertnoye Agentsvo. Concerty, festivaly, master-classy”.
