Vladimir Spivakov had gathered best Moscow musicians to form a chamber orchestra that became “Virtuosi Moskvy” (“The Moscow Virtuosi”). “It was a constellation of gifted people, and their aura was unique”, the maestro recalls. Nowadays, the musicians don’t know any uncharted territories of the world cultural space. Actually, it’s the only Russian orchestra to release its albums via two prominent record labels, BMG Classics and RCA Red Seal, with either classic or contemporary repertoire. Spivakov, an outstanding violinist and conductor, he performed as soloist with the most important symphonic orchestras in the world, including philharmonic orchestras of Moscow, Leningrad, Berlin, Vienna, London and New-York, symphonic orchestras of Paris, Chicago, Philadelphia, Pittsburg and Cleveland under the baton of the most eminent conductors of the 20th century.

Kirill Soldatov was born in Moscow in musicians’ family in 1986. He started playing the block flute at the age of 4. He learned playing the trumpet at Ippolitov-Ivanov Institute’s school and at Gnessin Musical College, and later at Gnessin Russian Music Academy. As early as at school he proved himself as an outstanding solo performer playing with various orchestras in Russia and abroad. Since the age of 17, Kirill Soldatov has been a solo performer of the Russian National Philharmonic Orchestra directed by V. Spivakov. He became the youngest musician appointed to this position in the orchestra’s history. At present, beside his work at the orchestra, Kirill performs all over the world with solo programs together with leading Russian and foreign orchestras.

Stanislav Davydov was born in Naro-Fominsk, Moscow Region. Graduated from the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory. He is an artist with the State Chamber Orchestra ‎Moscow Virtuosi. Since 2004, he has been a soloist and concertmaster of the French horn group of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia. He has repeatedly performed as a soloist with leading Russian orchestras.
