9th International Festival
of Vocal Music “Opera Apriori”
Mozart – one & only

The concert is cancelled

The 9th International Festival of Vocal Music “Opera Apriori” features the first concert of Bruno de Sá in Russia. Bruno de Sá is a male soprano singer from Brazil. The programme “Mozart – one&only!” consists of oeuvres by Mozart only, e.g. arias, opera ouvertures, as well as earlier piece – motet “Exsultate, jubilate” written by the composer at the age of 16.

Bruno de Sá has a unique type of voice – male soprano. He is “Best Newcomer” according to Oper! Award 2020. In Zaryadye Hall, the singer performs with Moscow chamber orchestra Musica Viva conducted by its art director Alexander Rudin.

Musica Viva is the orchestra in residence of  “Opera Apriori”; every year, it takes part in at least one or two festival programmes.

Fun fact: in February 2014, it was the orchestra led by Rudin that opened the first Festival ever, in Conservatory that time; world famous Yulia Lezhneva featured in “From Baroque to Mozart” programme, singing “Exsultate, jubilate” later that evening. So, it would be the first ever repetition of a piece, and this is the case, for the Festival tends to exclusive programmes and rarities. It can be regarded as a sign of resurrection of the Festival, that was severely damaged by troublesome 2020-2020 period… It’s the Festival’s comeback!

The event is organized by individual entrepreneur Kharakidzyan Elena Viktorovna
