The inhabitants of Georgia, a small nation at the intersection of Europe and Asia, are thought to be natural born singers. Ideed, people of the Caucas republic are known for their passion for choir singing. The Georgian trademark, as well as wine, is choir singing, with either amateurs or professionals harmonize perfectly. Georgia is also an Orthodox country, with the centuries-long tradition of church singing. So, the Orthodoxy and beautiful voices match perfectly. “Zaryadye Hall” proudly presents one of the best examples of Georgian vocal polyphony, the Patriach choir of St. Trinity Cathedral in Tbilisi. Russian TV-channel “Kultura” describes the choir’s concerts as “An unusually beautiful vocal polyphony, which amazes ether those who talks to God, or those who listens to their prayer in concert hall!”
