“Zaryadye” together with Music and Theatre College n.a. Galina Vishnevskaya, Elena Rostropovich Social Programmes Fund Development, and Chernomyrdin Fund present opera of Sergey Gavrilov “Aminta” based on a pastoral by a great Italian 16th century poet Torquato Tasso. Pastoral “Aminta” is an iconic event of European culture of the Renaissance.

Sergey Gavrilov turned the original pastoral into baroque opera, but added several music genres, like vocal polyphony (madrigal, motet), vocal recitative, ballet, and pantomime. Best Moscow young singers, the students of Vishnevskaya College, take part in the project. The premiere of the spectacle took place in Moscow, during Russuan-Italian programme “Dialogue of Cultures”. The spectacle was then shown at international festivals “Russian Seasons in Italy”, “Art of Landscape Park in Europe and Russia”, in Sorrento, and at the Tieppolo Fest. In Russia, the spectacle was shown in the Moscow House of Performing Arts, St.Petersburgh Philharmony, in Tsaritsyno Palace, and Gonzago Theatre in Archangelskoye.
