It was quite an ordinary night, but it was then that eight capital citizens met each other in almost mystical circumstances. In search for their happiness lost, those people try to learn how to “play a musicial” – they turn into characters of prominent music shows. Is Santa Claus’s wife worth envying? What does Judas do when he inhabits your soul? How one can become world champion? What if it were legal to kill in the name of love? For each character, vocal monologues based on prominent musicals would work as curse or cure…

The soundtrack of “Game of Musical” is unique for Russian professional stage: only during the spectacle you can hear in Russian some prominent arias from new century’s musicals such as “Songs for a New World”, “Parade”, “The Band’s Visit”, “Dear Evan Hansen”, “The Wild Party”, and others, as well as hits from new Hollywood music movies (“La-La-Land”, “The Greatest Showman”, “Smash”, etc). But it won’t do without golden melodies from classical “Miss Saigon”, “Jesus Christ Superstar”, “Cats”, “Fiddler on the Roof”. So, the project is for those who are ready to fall in love with musical again.
