Vienna Boys Choir (Austria)

The concert is cancelled

Tickets for September 12, 2021 are valid.

Arguably the most famous boys choir in the world, and “the business card” of Vienna’s music realm, the choir was established by a letter from Emperor Maximilian I of Habsburg on 30 June 1498.

Nowadays, thousands of tourists from all over the world rush to the Burgkapelle in Hofburg in order to enjoy the crystal clear voices of the young Vienna singers.

The choir constantly tours, but it doesn’t mean that the boys have to work around the clock, wearing themselves out. On the contrary, the boys are cared about, and not a single child’s right is ever violated.

The thing is that there are four casts of the choir, and they never tour at the same time, so all in all each boy performs only 9 or 11 weeks during a school year. Each ensemble has its own conductor.
