Mikhail Lidsky, piano
Domenico Nordio, violin (Italy)

Domenico Nordio and Mikhail Lidsky performed together for the first time more than ten years ago in Milan at the Serate Musicali festival. Since then, the musicians have recorded several albums for Decca and regularly give concerts in Europe and Russia.

The bright creative personalities of Nordio and Lidsky have earned recognition from the general public and critics. Mikhail Lidsky is called “one of the most original pianists of modern Russia”, the press writes about him as “an exceptionally subtle, always amazing master of the piano.”

His partner, professor at the Santa Cecilia Academy in Rome, Domenico Nordio is one of the most famous violinists of his generation. It can be heard at Carnegie Hall in New York, Teatro alla Scala in Milan. He has performed with the Accademia Santa Cecilia Orchestra, the National Orchestras of France and Spain. And it is no coincidence that the Stradivari Foundation in Cremona chose Domenico Nordio as the protagonist of the Friends of Stradivari project – a series of concerts where he played Stradivari, Amati.
