B. Berezovskiy and A. Gindin, piano

The piano duo of Boris Berezovsky and Alexander Ghindin was formed ten years ago. During one of their first concerts together, the two brilliant virtuoso pianists played transcription for two piano of music of American composers – Gershwin, Copland, Cage, etc. The two pianists have been regularly playing as duo ever since. In “Zaryadye” the duo will play a concept program with rare pieces of Arensky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Messiaen, and Ravel.

The forthcoming concert in “Zaryadye” will feature a brand new set list of the duo. First suite for two pianos by Rachmaninov is arguably one of the most popular pieces of the composer, while Ravel Suite №2 from his iconic ballet “Daphnis and Chloe” is a hit, too. “Rhapsody in Black” is a “megamix” of famous Gershwin tunes from “Porgy and Bess”, re-arranged for two pianos by contemporary pianist Vyacheslav Gryaznov.
