Anastasia Makhamendrikova and Ivan Bessonov. Masterpieces of chamber music

Laureates of International music competitions
Anastasia Makhamendrikova, piano
Ivan Bessonov, piano

The two pianists are rising stars of the Russian piano school. Both musicians are only 16 years old, but they have already become winners, or at least laureates, of numerous international competitions.

As a child, Ivan Bessonov was a pupil of “Sirius” educational center. He is a winner of the all-Russia open TV-competition “Sinaya Ptitsa” (“Blue Bird”), Eurovision Young Musicians in Edinburgh (August 2018), and The International Chopin Piano Competition in 2015. And within only five years, from 2010 to 2015, Ivan Bessonov was lucky enough to receive six Grand Prix at “Kikiny Palaty” (“Kikin Hall”), the annual competition of musical etudes.

Anastasia Makhamendrikova is a laureate of the International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians, Astana Piano Passion Young Pianists International Competition, “Sinaya Ptitsa”, and Grand Prize Virtuoso among many others.

As a soloist, Anastasia performed with The Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra, the New Russia Orchestra, and the Tatar State Symphony Orchestra.
