The Trio named after Sergey Rachmaninov is well known far beyond Russia. Musicians give clinics on regular basis, and, of course, tour extensively from Japan to Latin America, Singapore to Indonesia, China, and even Far North.

In Moscow, the Trio is the organizer of their own festival called “Rachmaninov Trio & Friends”. During the past five years, musicians from Austria, Italy, Germany, France, Brazil, and Israel have been guests of the festival during the last five years.
The Rachmaninov Trio also organizes annual cycles of chamber music in Moscows’ venues, where Russian musicians play, as well as foreign celebrities.

Clarnetist Sergio Delmastro graduated with honors from the Turin conservatory. He was leading clarinetist in the Turin Symphony Orchestra, RAI National Symphony Orchestra, Turin Royal Theatre, the Orchestra of Padua and Venice, and a Milan orchestra called “Pomeriggi Musicali”. He played with many prominent soloists as well as chamber ensembles, such as the Prague Quartet, Carme, and Rachmaninov Trio. He is touring Europe, USA, Russia, and Japan as a soloist or chamber musician. He is a professor in Conservatory of Italian Switzerland in Lugano.

The Rachmaninov Trio was founded in 1995 by seasoned musicians, conservatory graduates, Victor Yampolsky, Natalia Savinova, and violinist Mikhail Zinman, and the members of the ensemble remain the same to this date.
