Moscow Youth Chamber Orchestra first declared itself in 2003 at the international Vladimir Spivakov festival “Constellation of the Young”. The enthusiasm and temperament of young performers, diverse repertoire, ensemble harmony were appreciated by the audience. The founder and artistic director of the collective is Honored Art Worker of the Russian Federation, Rector of the Ippolitov-Ivanov State Museum of Fine Arts, President of the Russian Performing Arts Foundation, Professor Valery Vorona. The orchestra consists of young virtuoso musicians, laureates of international and all-Russian competitions, scholarship holders of the Russian Performing Arts Foundation.

The orchestra collaborates with such musicians as Valery Gergiev, Yuri Bashmet, Maxim Vengerov, Vadim Repin, Vladimir Ponkin, Saulius Sondetskis, Bridget Angerer (France) and others.
