Sergey Prokofiev’s pieces for children.

“His (Prokofiev’s) music for teenagers and children has become a great page in the history of our great contemporary. Many composers did write for young music aficionados, actually all of composers to certain extent, though few of them paid so much attention to the genre, not many of them did it with all their hearts, as Prokofiev did”, Dmitry Kabalevsky, prominent and influential Soviet composer and educator once wrote.

“Symphonic fairy tale for children” “Peter and the Wolf” is the most famous musical oeuvre for children. Several generations got acquainted with classical music due to it.
In “Zaryadye”, the vivid images of the tale’s characters will become visible due to video art created by Ilya Starilov. RAMT star, actor Yevgeny Redko will read the text of the story.
